I got into vintage clothes in high school, after obsessive viewings and re-viewings of Pretty In Pink triggered a need in me to adopt Molly Ringwald's look. I grew out of Molly, but vintage shopping got its little hooks into me! Over the years, casual once-a-month trips to the local thrift stores have evolved into entire vacations planned around visiting small town shops, packing my closet and home to bursting. This turned into dragging friends to shops and "forcing" them to buy the pretty dresses and shoes I either couldn't fit onto my body or into my closet. And that turned into wanting to bring my obsession for vintage to a wider audience with an Etsy shop and now to Georgielove. I especially love dresses and sweaters and skirts, and from every era, though the 50s and 60s are nearest to my heart. And the 70s. Well, and the 80s. And the 40s, too. So much to love, how could I discriminate?
