Butterfly Teacup Purse
If you aren't familiar with Tara Badcock's work, then you soon will be, or should be. You obviously haven't been traveling in the right circles!
Tara does amazing embroidery. I was very familiar with her work before having pieces on Georgie Love, but looking at them in person and a catalogue of her work. Wow. They are just beautiful, elaborate and intimate pieces, so if you want to buy something super indulgent for someone you love that they will cherish, or of course for yourself, Tara's purses are it.
Made in Tasmania, they are all one-of-a-kind freehand machine embroidery (& the detail has to be seen to be believed!) on a combination of either vintage and antique fabrics, indulgent silk, Tasmanian wool, cotton embroidery threads, linen, hemp, bamboo on a leather back.
This purse is 16.5cm wide and 12cm high.
